Congratulations, Ruben Hernandez! We wish you the best retirement and hope you get to spend everyday surrounded by your wonderful family!

Ruben was a GM Service Advisor known for being attentive, kind, and always down-to-earth.  He always went beyond the call of duty to show his guests and coworkers that they are a valued member of the Motor City Family.

This 44-year automotive industry veteran began his career of helping drivers with their vehicle issues as a gas station employee.  Ruben was also attending Foothill High School when it was only 1 of 8 high schools in the area.  Even though he has moved to different companies within the industry, automotive service is his passion. Nineteen years of his career has been at Motor City Buick GMC and we are so grateful to have had this wonderful man on our team!

Now that he’s retired, you will most likely find Ruben handing out with his family and maybe even on his way to a baseball game.  North America has 30 Major League Baseball Stadiums and Ruben has been to 28 of them!  He has yet to visit the home of the Seattle Mariners or the Colorado Rockies in Denver.  He loves combining his passions of travel and baseball as a way to see the country and learn more about each state, but the Dodgers will always be his favorite team!

We are so grateful to call Ruben a part of the Motor City Retirement Club and cannot wait to see how e enjoys this much deserved next phase of his life! Thank you for all of your hard work, dedication, kindness, and passion, Ruben!
